Happy Sunday!
I can remember being a little girl and my Mom telling me, “Sweetheart, we love people and like things.” It’s true we don’t really love a song, TV show or dessert on the same level as we do God, our families and friends.
The same theory applies to the things that we possess and who we are as people. In this life, we do not have hope because we are hope. Living and breathing testaments to faith, seed, time and harvest, God created us in hope and Jesus died for us in hope. What is beautiful about being something instead of possessing it, is that who we are can never be taken away from us, unlike the things that we own. Satan’s greatest weapon against us is his ability to influence our thinking and feelings, yet neither our thoughts nor our feelings dictate who we are. We have the final choice about the thoughts we continue to think, the feelings we continue to feel and ultimately the person we continue to become.
If you’re waiting on a sign from God or encouragement for a season in life that you’re experiencing…look in the mirror. You are the answer. Within You is the capacity to be who you want, to do your wildest dreams, to create a satisfying life and to attract all that you desire!
