This past Friday, I had a nightmare. I was at the wrong place, at what would have been the wrong time, if my mother had not stepped in and protected me. Upon waking, with my heart-racing from how ‘real’ the dream felt, I immediately went to hug my mother and tell her how grateful I was for her protection, both in my waking and sleeping hours.
Then, I thought, “If my mother, a human being, who is imperfect can shield me from harm, how much more does God?!”
“Now you don’t need to be afraid of the dark anymore, nor fear the dangers of the day; nor dread the plagues of darkness, nor disasters in the morning.” -Psalm 91:5-6
You are protected from dangers, both seen and unseen, in light and darkness, during the mornings and nights!
