Happy Mother’s Day to all the spectacular mothers out there! May we know them, be them or even one day become them!
My mother is my absolute best friend. At some point during my teenager years, she became less of a parent, and more of my confidant and cheerleader.
This morning, while I was taking notes on the message my Pastor was teaching, God asked me a question:
Do I not love you more than your mother?
A mother’s love is unconditional and unwavering. There is no limit to a woman’s power, when her children are in question. It is hard to fathom the fact that someone could love us more than our mothers…but that fact is indeed true. Although, our mothers endured tremendous pain and made huge sacrifices, they didn’t die on the cross…Jesus, God’s son, did.
God gave us mothers, so we could get a glimpse of how vast and amazing His love is for us. So on this Mother’s Day, I am thankful for my mother and The God, who gave her to me!
