“I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness in the exuberant earth. Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with God.” -Psalm 27:14 MSG
Waiting in the natural is drastically different than waiting in the spirit. Being at a restaurant and waiting, mindlessly texting/scrolling on your phone is not the type of waiting that one does when they are expecting manifestation.
There is a crucial step between using our faith and receiving the Promises of God, and that is the processing phase. When a person reckons their flesh with God’s Word to make them one, there is an initiation of unrelenting faith. Many of us struggle with faith because we haven’t fully processed (to the best of our humanly limited abilities) the life that God envisions for us.
I personally liken it to someone who professes to be a wonderful baker but has never opened a cookbook or turned on an oven. They believe that their cupcakes would be scrumptious, which could be true, but without familiarizing themselves with the kitchen, any contrary opinion can rattle them because there is no confidence. We can speak faith and believe it but if we don’t invest into getting acquainted with God and undergoing the renewal process, when Satan comes, we realize that we are half baked too!
