LOVE Week 13: Continuously Thrills

To ask who is God, we must first answer what is love.

God must love variety because He promises to be with us in the good and the bad!

psalm 16:11 voice

Instead, You direct me on the path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment.”

Week 13…I cannot believe that we have ended yet another series on AD! And as always, thank you for joining me on this journey…

We could say a lot things about the road that a Believer walks on. There are trial and tribulations, victories and successes and summer & winter seasons. However, we can never say that this walk is mundane or boring, for there are always reasons to have hope and to guard our hearts.

“My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can!”

James 1:2 TPT

James 1:2 always struck me as one of those “psyching yourself up” gimmicks. How am I supposed to find genuine joy in this actual pain? Yet, I have come to see that counting it all joy pertains to the perception of the experience itself, not in living through that experience. A cut finger hurts and there isn’t much joy (if any at all) in that! However, the joy comes into play when one evaluates their injury and finds the silver lining. “Oops, this is a wake up call for me to be more careful in the kitchen.” or “I take little things for granted like my hands and need to be more appreciative.”

Through the variety of experiences that we have in life, both good and bad, God is always there, through every up and through every down. His Love is with us on the highest mountains and the lowest valleys, in Him we have a companion for the (often) unpredictable voyage of life!

Walking with God is a lifelong journey of a love that is always changing to better suit us and our needs. I hope that you have learned something these past 13 weeks and that you never forget that you are love, you were created in love and that love surrounds you!

Next Thursday, 05/21/20, will be the start of another series on AD. I’m still bouncing a few ideas around, but we will see what God lays on my heart 🙂

Spread your love for AD!
