To ask who is God, we must first answer what is love.
God is love and He created us in love. Love lacks nothing and operates exclusively in abundance!
psalm 34:8 amp
“O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good;
How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him.”
We can lack many things in life, people, food, money, peace, health etc., and having a “lack mentality” is a choice. Our circumstances can exhaust us, leaving us on empty. Yet we can also be prosperous in just as many things in life too!
My cute and supposed to be waterproof outfit did not fare well today in the torrential downpour and I had to go home so I could change clothes.
“I will loose my close parking space ” = “At least I have a car”
“I will have to walk further in the rain” = “At least I have legs to walk”
“Of all days, it happened today.” = “At least today’s schedule is flexible”
Personally, I think the battle between faith and physical manifestation lies in retaining a mentality of prosperity, in spite of what we physically see. Our mind is a power tool that can be influenced by other people and even pressured but all in all, it reminds in our control and in submission to what we subject it to!
