I Week 6: Worshiper

You were created to be a living ode to God’s Glory and to praise Him!

psalm 100:1-3 tpt

“Lift up a great shout of joy to the Lord! Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere! As you serve him, be glad and worship him. Sing your way into his presence with joy! And realize what this really means— we have the privilege of worshiping the Lord our God. For he is our Creator and we belong to him.
We are the people of his pleasure.”

When I was younger, I used to contemplate my existence and how God fashioned human beings. Some nights, I would fall asleep thinking, “Wow, I’m a breathing human being!”. Aren’t the wonderings of a child fascinating?

Although years later, I am still contemplate life, it’s often (unfortunately) on a superficial level. Some days, I fall asleep, thinking, “Where am I going to be in 5, 10 years?”. When did the future become more consuming than the present?

Currently, I am doing some retraining and simplifying in my life, especially in the sector of my thoughts. Why was I created? Well there are two answers to that, the simple answer, that I know and the complex answer, that only God knows.

Simple answer: to worship Him and spread the news of His Love

Complex answer: to fulfill His calling on my life (of which, I don’t know yet!)

Life can be perceived through two lenses, a simple lens or a complex lens. You were created by God to worship Him and imitate Him on earth, simple as that! Don’t over complicate it and take on unnecessary stress, because God excels and specializes in the details!

Until Weekend Wellness,

Spread your love for AD!
