“I love you”. Are there any sweeter and more fulfilling words to hear from your Creator than He loves you, just as you are, unconditionally….forever?
john 3:16 tpt
“For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.”
Today, I had my last final, yay! I have to thank God for yet, another successful semester. He has never failed me.
Before I take an exam or embark on any endeavor where I will be ‘judged’ based on my performance (or lack thereof), I make my confessions and remember what my mom used to tell me when I was younger. “Just do your best, whatever that grade may be, If your best is a C, then I will love just like that C was an A, because I love you, not the grade.”
I was not fond of this thinking until I reached high school and college, and realized that the things I do and the accolades I earn have no precedence over who I am as a person. These things contribute to my public persona but they have no bounds on my core value.
“[insert your name], I love you no matter what happens with [insert circumstance] and despite [insert shortcoming]. God truly does!
We are loved triple times! God sent the messenger of Love, Jesus who spoke of/modeled Love and then left the Holy Spirit with us. God created three avenues of Love, all interconnected and freely available to us. That sounds like fierce intentionality!
Until Weekend Wellness,
