Happy last Sunday in March for 2020!
By now, you have probably been in self-quarantine for a few days or so. Isn’t it amazing how we take things like going to the movies or eating in a restaurant for granted?
The news and social media are keeping us up to date on the negatives of COVID-19 but what about the positives?
- increased hygiene awareness (for those who didn’t know!)
- time to reflect on life
- bonding with family
- reliance on God
These all great opportunities to grow amidst a difficult time in our world. We have the chance to come out stronger post-coronavirus than we were pre-coronavirus. Stronger in our personal relationships. Stronger in our spirituality. Stronger in appreciation for the little things. Stronger in any area of life that we choose to work on.
So no wonder we don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day. We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison, because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 TPT
God is still on the move, perfecting and refining us. Social distancing does not equate to spiritual distancing! God and His Angel Armies are still gathered in large groups protecting you and your loved ones! We can view these setbacks from coronavirus as setups for to watch God be God…
