God’s Orchestra

“We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.”

Romans 8:28-19 VOICE

Today, while reading Romans 8, I was reminded of a 7th grade field to see an orchestra perform. I remember most of us just being excited to leave school for a day and being rather oblivious about what we were getting into. Let’s just say we were disappointed and bored out of our minds. The orchestra was so long that we had an intermission and the music was not consistent. Some songs were louder and more up-beat while others were softer and slower.

Looking back now, with almost 10 more years of life experience and maturity, I can appreciate the skill and practice that goes into an orchestra as oppose to when I was 11. I also think about the orchestration of God’s Plans in my life and how, like the 7th grade field trip, life does always go as planned! Yet, God has never left me short of good and beautiful things in my life, even when plans goes awry.

God did not orchestrate COVID into our lives but through COVID He has orchestrated an opportunity to have peace, provision and protection!

Thanks to Jesus, we have a lifetime invitation to listen at God’s Orchestra and see Him work in our lives!
