“Don’t allow the actions of evil men to cause you to burn with anger. Instead, burn with unrelenting passion as you worship God in holy awe.”Proverbs 23:17 TPT
I see you
I see you
To make the jump
I must go
Light in weight
With little baggage
I must walk in luó
Luó is greek for “to loose, to release, to dissolve” according to BibleHub.com.
When things are burning, compounds are being released into the air. Take wood that is burning, the fire being fueled by oxygen and then the smoke from the fire releasing carbon dioxide into the air. After the fire is extinguished, there is little left of the wood, just ashes. Yet, those ashes are able to travel vast distances in comparison to its original form of heavy solid wood.
Things happen, people happen, life happens and that can weigh us down, making our hearts hardened, limiting God’s power to work through us. However, when we allow ourselves to be on fire for Jesus, the trials of this life melt away, freeing us! Although the hot purifying process is uncomfortable and inconvenient, it is worth undergoing. 2020 is a new decade and we should strive to enter it with open minds, hearts and spirits.
